A unique cottage in a beautiful location
At Sea and the City, you'll be staying in a cozy cottage. A private cottage, with double doors to a personal terrace. The property is situated near the beaches of Bloemendaal and Zandvoort with the neighboring national park Zuid-Kennemerland and its beautiful forest and dunes. It's around the corner of the charming villages Overveen and Bloemendaal and nearby Haarlem and Amsterdam. You can really relax in this place and enjoy your privacy. You can also easily go hiking or discover the surrounding area by bike or experience Haarlem's pleasant hospitality. The Haarlem train station is within walking distance, which is ideal if you wish to travel by train.
But that's not the only thing that makes this cottage special. When the weather is nice, you can open the double doors to the garden and eat on the cozy terrace. If it gets colder later in the evening, you can easily wrap up in one of our comfortable blankets. The cottage has central heating and a separate thermostat, which guarantees the temperature inside is always comfortable.
We made sure you don't have to leave the cottage. You can watch a movie on the smart TV, listen to your favorite music, read a good book, or look through one of our magazines to be inspired. Additionally, there's a basket with toys for children. There's enough to enjoy yourself.

The kitchen
In the kitchen, you can find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, such as cooking equipment, pans, and pepper and salt. The cottage doesn't have an oven or microwave.
The kitchen also has:
- A 2-hob induction cooktop
- A fridge (without freezer)
- A luxury dishwasher
You can also choose to eat out at one of the many, great restaurants nearby. Our website provides many great tips and there's also a memo board with suggestions inside the cottage.

The cottage has a Nespresso machine & milk foamer. We have provided coffee cups and several types of organic tea, amongst other amenities.
The bedroom
We believe that sleeping well is very important. That's why the master bedroom has a luxury two-person boxspring with two types of pillows, extra large duvet, and comfortable bedding.
The other bedroom has a sofa bed with a double mattress. A baby bed is available upon request.
The bathroom
The bathroom has a walk-in shower with rain shower, toilet, and sink. You will also find nice care products, fluffy towels, a hairdryer, and bathrobes in the bathroom.
There is also a beach bag with beach towels ready for your use.
Other amenities
- There are two comfortable, luxury bikes for borrow.
- A baby bed and high chair are available on request. Small children will also receive a small surprise upon arrival.
- Due to the steep stairs to the bedroom level, the cottage is less suitable for people with mobility problems or who are dependent on a wheelchair.

We rent the cottage without breakfast because there are many great and delicious options for this in the immediate vicinity.
The village
There are many restaurants in the village, such as restaurants Loetje, Klein Centraal, and French Napa. Opposite Loetje, you will find Stach, a combination of a store and restaurant. You will definitely find what you desire.
Picnic basket
At French Napa, you can enjoy a little bit of France with a hint of Napa Valley. It's a ten minute walk or you can go by bike. You can also get your breakfast to-go in a cooled picnic basket, so you can enjoy your breakfast in the surrounding nature.
Haarlem
There are many delicious breakfast facilities in Haarlem within a five-minute bike ride.
The Albert Heijn
If you don't wish to leave the cottage, you can also use the facilities at the cottage to prepare your own breakfast. The large grocery store Albert Heijn is around the corner.
